Although there are a few supportred events throught the first quater of the year such as the 'Bloody Mary' on January 9th, the Blaze Calender officially kicks off with the training day and racing at Burghfield in April.

The keenly attended Traveller Series kicking off once again in May and there are six traveller events scheduled once again for 2010, of which only three are needed in order to qualify for an overall result, but the best four count...! so it is in your interest to make at least four!!!

The Blaze fleet is now spread right across the country and has quite a few good gatherings throughout the year, so in order to make these gatherings more official and try and attract more Blazes to take part... these events are now known officially as Blaze Supported Events!!

To be a Blaze supported event, we expect to get at least 6 Blazes on the line, and we also try and get our own starts where possible. These events are a great chance to promote and introduce the Blaze to other sailors and a chance for regular attendees to catch up with one another once again.
