Notice of Race
1. Place & Date:
Bala Sailing Club
Saturday 9th October - Sunday 10th October 2010
The Organising Authority is Bala Sailing Club.
2. Rules
Racing will be governed by the ISAF RRS, the relevant Class Rules and the Bala Sailing Club, Sailing Instructions 2010.
2.1 Racing Charter
Competitors should note that Bala Sailing Club implements the RYA Racing Charter and that they will be required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, which can be found at the front of the RYA rule book (Racing Rules of Sailing 2009 – 2012).
2.2 Liability Limit
The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the owner/person in charge who must ensure that the boat and crew are adequate to face the conditions that may arise in the course of the race. The race organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury however caused to the owner/person in charge or crew, as a result of their taking part in the race or races. Moreover, every owner/person in charge warrants the suitability of the boat for the race or races. This condition does not override any statutory rights.
3. Condition of Entry
This is a two-day event for Blaze dinghies. Competitors must be members of the Blaze Class Association.
There will be one-class starts.
Entries by persons under 18yrs old must be counter signed by their parent or guardian.
4. Programme – 6 Race Event
Saturday
Registration from 10am
Briefing at 10.45am
1st Race start at 12 noon.
Sunday
1st Race Start at 10.30am
Prize giving planned for 1 hour after the completion of the last race in the clubhouse
5. Entry Fees:
Adults - £20
Juniors - £10

Rights to Use Names & Likenesses
Competitors automatically grant to Bala Sailing Club without payment the right in perpetuity to make, use and show any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or filmed television of or relating to the event.
