Scottish Championship

Only four of us - but we are having a good time. F3 ish winds and shifting N all day so there was a gap between races while the RO swung the course round. Race management - Spot on!. Choice of curry, vege curry or chilli at the end of the day too.

Race one - Mervyn & Bill had a good scrap for 1st until Bill scooted off. I got Mervyn on Lap 3 when he chose to relax on the beat and made sure of 2nd when Mervyn found a Musto Skiff ( It was on a different course, don't get excited) betwteen me and him at the last mark.

Race two. - I cleared off at the start . The rest followed in a bunch some distance behind. I hate it when this happens as I kind of feel I should know how to make it happen again.

Race three - Ok the wind has been swinging N all day so I'll start at the N end of the line again. Its been working well so far. However this was AFAIK the only swing back S - damm. Never mind all close at the windward mark. I think we all had a go at leading this one. Tim lost it by dawdling up the beat Mervyn lost it by shoving the bow down the mine at the bear off I lost it with a slow gybe. At the leeward mark of lap 2 three of us were close but the order didn't change

Results so far
